Rachel Rogers

Gill is a contemporary artist based in Lincoln. Originally from the Fens, she draws much of her inspiration from the endless, richly colored fields, vast skies, and starry nights of her childhood. She also finds inspiration from the many visits to the coastline around the Wash.

Gill's work is created either in acrylic on board or in mixed media on 300gsm watercolor paper. She builds her paintings in layers, scraping back through to reveal the colors beneath.
