Afino Cotton Reel Lamp, Bronze

(African Walnut for the main body and English Oak for the needle)

The African Walnut was originally supplied and used for large plan drawing tables at the Metropolitan Water Board London circa 1918. The tables were scrapped in the late 1970’s.

Some of this antique wood was rescued and is now being given a new lease of life.

The needle has been hand crafted from a vintage Oak floorboard dating from the 1950’s.

Every lamp is unique and comes with its own character.
All the wiring and lamp holder is modern and has been PAT tested.

The wood comes complete with bumps and blemishes – it has already lived a life!
