About Emma Skeet

Emma has been surrounded by creative inspiration all her life. Her parents met at St.Martin’s School of Art in London in the 1950’s and filled her childhood with their artwork and adventures, such as the Alice in Wonderland fancy-dress party where they played amongst giant painted characters after shrinking from magic potion in the tiny glass bottles labelled ‘drink me’ her parents had made. Carrying on this philosophy of innovative imaginative play, her mixed-media paintings celebrate the joys of colour, shape and texture, with the main character Nature always the essence of life, connecting us to ourselves and the earth. Paintings have found their way to Hollywood, Amnesty International Amsterdam, Norwich City of Sanctuary art auction and the BigC ward at NNUH. Proceeds from the sale of Emma’s work fund free community art workshops celebrating nature and inspiring positive change to protect people and planet through Emma’s social enterprise Share Your Story Through Art CIC
