Deborah Larne has been drawing, painting and experimenting with different creative outlets since she was a child. Working mainly across the media of oils, acrylics and encaustic wax Deborah’s work ranges from landscape paintings of Norfolk coastal towns and landscapes to vivid abstracts inspired by memories.
Deborah sees her work as a way of observing and recording her impressions of the world around her in an intuitive way. She tries to journey beyond the obvious first impression and question assumptions and the perceived reality. Speaking of her inspiration she has said ‘my life appears to have followed a path concerned primarily with making the insignificant, significant.’
